The Canadian League of Gamers has announced the final invites for the Northern Arena Canadian eSports Championship event in Toronto.
From September 1-4, the Canadian League of Gamers will host at the Metro Toronto Convention the first of two Northern Arena events that will take place until the end of the year, each one featuring a Counter-Strike tournament with $100,000 in prize money.
The main talking point about the final invites is the inclusion of three European teams: Swedish high-fliers GODSENT, Denmark-based team Unity, led by former Titan member Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez, and German side NRG.

Among the other 12 invitees are Cloud9, who are reportedly looking for a new player to replace Alec "Slemmy" White, and Luminosity Gaming's new roster. ACE Gaming and Synthetik round out the list after finishing top two in the Call of the North online qualifiers.
